Heathrow Drop-Off Charge. Why Is Everyone Talking About Drop-off Charges?

Early this year, Gatwick Airport introduced drop-off charges to the North and South Terminals. From November 01 2021, Heathrow Airport will introduce drop-off charges to all the terminals forecourt drop-offs.

The service is implemented with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), and there are no barriers in the Drop Off area, as stated by the Heathrow Airport Website.

It's calculated as per visit. Each visit you go into the designated drop-off area it will cost you £5.00.
